«Headphones» - a film made to the anniversary of the April events in Kyrgyzstan.

 

Film HEADPHONES (Naushniki) made by Baktiyar Seytkaziev, Tumar-film, Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan, 2011, 15 min. Format - Bluy Ray.

Synopsis. She’s working for pennies. His life is wheelchair.
They are husband and wife, orphans forgotten by their country.
They are extras in this life, hostages of their own illusions.
What can they do for love? What a human nature can bear? And how to value man’s life and dignity? Or find an ultimate solution in headphones?

Info about HEADPHONES's film-director:

 

Baktiyar Seitkaziev graduated as a linguist, yet served the path from television journalism to cinematograph. He started his career with kicking off a television news service on the Pyramid channel (Bishkek) in 1993. Mr. Seitkaziev continued with the endure and hard work in production of advertising, musical videos, and documentaries for Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

2009 – released his first work, “The Letters From A Far” movie. Budget: 87,000 USD. Toll of DVDs sold: 8,000 copies.
2010 – “Zhanym” television serial filmed for the “Khabar” agency (Kazakhstan). 78 episodes, 26 minutes each episode, project lifetime: six months, audience: 6 million viewers.
2011 – “Headphones” short movie introduced at a film festival.
Nowadays, is a co-owner of the Tumar Film Company.
