    "Dust of the Earth" will be shown at the International Film-School for young directors in Tbilisi

     

    The International Film-School "The Сommonwealth of the Young Film-Makers" will be held from May 30 to June 3, 2016 in Tbilisi. The main program of the event will be the competition for short fiction. Accredited participants will select the winners by secret ballot.

    Seide among the finalists for the BAFTA US Student Film Awards

     

    BAFTA Los Angeles has announced today the finalists for the BAFTA US Student Film Awards, which will be presented at a gala ceremony June 16, 2016 at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. Now in its thirteenth year, the event identifies and celebrates the very best student short films produced in the US.

    Amanbek Ajymat made his new documentary about woman who takes care of autistic children and cerebral palsy "Жашыл жазда кыялдарым орундалат" - means "Dreams Come True in the Spring".

    69th Festival de Cannes Awards

     

    The Jury of the 69th Festival de Cannes, presided by George Miller, has revealed the names of the 2016 prize-winners during the Awards Ceremony. Laurent Lafitte welcomed the prize-givers and winners onto the stage of the Grand Théâtre Lumière, to the sound of music playing. The American actor, Mel Gibson, had the honour of awarding the Palme d’or to the best of the 21 films in Competition.
