Kyrgyz school for Cinema and TV announce a set of training courses

During the Mifa Pitch sessions*, the Annecy International Animation Film Market also presents animation projects from emerging countries, the object being to show off the sensitivity, creativity and potential of creators from these countries. The work comes from a Call for Projects for all formats: short film, feature film, TV series and transmedia, open to countries with limited production capacity. A creator/animator/filmmaker can send in a project either as a personal/individual piece of work or through a structure set up within his/her country.

    There was the 9th Annual Asia Pacific Screen Awards on the November 26, 2015, Brisbane, Australia. The Kyrgyz movie Heavenly Nomadic by Mirlan Abdykalykov have awarded APSA - NETPAC Development Prize.

    Four Kyrgyz movies will be shown at the Second International Film Festival for the national and ethnic cinema Silver Akbuzat, Ufa, Bashkortostan, 9-12.12.2015

    The second edition will be held from the December 9 to 12, 2015 in the capital of Bashkortostan - Ufa.

    Festival Kinoproba: "Windmill" by Kenjebek Shailoobaev in competition


    There are lots of International Film Festivals, and it seems that it is so hard to find something new. However there is such trait which distinguishes it in the advantageous image from other film festivals. “Kinoproba”  is not only festival – competition, festival – holiday, but also festival – workshop. Besides awards for the achievements young directors can gain an experience of the analysis of the presented creative works, to improve and deepen both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills here, at our festival. Series of master classes, seminars, discussions with participation of familiar experts and, certainly, acquaintance to their creativity are provided for this purpose.
