There was the sprecial screening of the movie "Kurmanjan Datka " yesterday, on the 13th of the August 2014.
The state comission and board of the artisitic council of the National Studio "Kyrgyzfilm" saw the film and approved it.

Who will go to Montreal?
Montreal World Film Festival will be held from the 21st of the August to the 1st of the September 2014. A rich selection from 74 countries the future of cinema with 51 first feature films 350 features and short films 160 features films (100 world or international premieres and 32 North American premieres).
The 38th Montreal World Film Festival is dedicated to Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
Claude Lelouch will present "Salaud, on t'aime" as opening film.

Mirlan Abdykalykov started to shoot his first full-length film
On the 18th of the July 2014 Mirlan Abdykalykov began to shoot his first full-lengh movie "Chon Ashuu". It's coproduction between Aytysh-film (Sadyk Sher-Niyaz) & Oy Art (Altynai Koichumanova). Script-writers: Aktan Arym Kubat & Ernest Abdyjaparov. Starring: Taalaykan Abazova & Tabaldy Aktanov etc. The movie will be ready this autumn.
