"Ot Azoj": In memory of Izya Gershtein

The 3rd International Festival of Jewish Culture "Ot Azoj" will be held on the 28th of the February and the 6th of the March 2016 in Toronto.

Among the events of this festival - Presentation "My heart's in the Highlands. Izya Gershtein - 50 years in Kyrgyz cinema" by Alexander Gershtein, journalist and documentalist, son of Izya Gershtein.

Gershtein Izya Abramovich, famous Kyrgyz documentalist was born on the 22.06.1923 in Kiev. During many years he lived and worked in Kyrgyzstan. He made many good documentaries. He died on the 13.02.2013 in Haifa.

Russian Week in the ancient city of Osh, 19-24.04.2016

The program will include six films made by famous Russian film-directors.
