A Special Mention went to This Is What I Remember (Esimde, Kyrgyzstan, Japan, The Netherlands, France, 2022) made by Aktan Arym Kubat. This portrait of a society that centres on a quest worker suffering from memory loss is set in a post-Soviet reality.
