Synopsis. The film tells the story of the pilots – Heroes of Belarus Andrei Nichiporchik and Nikita Kukonenko. At the cost of their own lives, the pilots saved civilians from certain death by steering the aircraft away from a residential area. A YAK-130 military aircraft from the Lida Attack Aviation Base crashed on 19 May 2021 in Baranovichi. Just over a minute passed between the moment the emergency arose and the crash. In that minute, the two pilots recalled their lives, each of their own, filled with moments of joy and sorrow, love and disappointment, events that had shaped their characters.

Ivan Pavlov is a film director, screenwriter, and actor. He graduated from the Belarusian Academy of Arts (film directing department). Since 1993, he has worked at the Belorus-Film studio. He has directed 20 feature films. He is the dean of the film department at the Belarusian Academy of Arts.
