On June 7, the grand opening of the IV Bishkek International Film Festival took place in the very center of the capital – on T. Usubaliev Square.

Famous Kyrgyz actor Dogdurbek Kydyraliev (Video) was awarded the award "For outstanding contribution to the development of Kyrgyz and world cinema throughout his life."

Famous French actress Audrey Tautou (Video) was presented with the honorary award for outstanding contribution to world cinema (for lifelong contribution to world cinema).
