Artdocfest/Riga Pitch Finalists 2026

Exactly one month from now — on May 27, 2026 — the documentary pitch session will take place, supported by the New Generation Europe Foundation.

This year, 11 projects have reached the final selection — different in tone, language, and the filmmakers’ experience, but united by a precise gaze at reality and a commitment to speaking honestly about what matters:

♦ “Homeland in the Belly” (dir. Alexandra Strelyanaya)

♦ “Mother, Russia” (dir. Vladimir Sevrinovsky)

♦ “Beats for a Son” (dir. Yana Isaenko)

♦ “Stitch by Stitch” (dir. Alina Baitokova)

♦ “Ground Zero” (dir. Yulia Guskova)

We thank all the filmmakers who submitted their applications — the selection was strong and diverse, and choosing the finalists was not an easy task.
