This year's festival is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the outstanding filmmaker Algimantas Vidugiris. 

Over the years, the film festival has become an integral part of Bishkek's cultural life, developing into a large-scale platform for dialogue and collaboration. Here, directors, producers, and experts meet to present their work, exchange experiences, discuss current trends, and lay the foundation for future joint projects.

The festival program includes two competition categories – international and national. The screenings will feature feature films, documentaries, animation, and experimental films.

International competition

The international competition includes 14 films from various countries. The national program will present 15 of the best short films by Kyrgyz directors.

National competition

The 14th International Short Film Festival invites everyone to become part of this vibrant event, discovering new talent and expanding the boundaries of contemporary cinema.
