The 3. Ten5Zero7 Film Week is organized by July 15th Association by the support of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It is on the themes of coup, resistance and freedom.
The idea of this activity flourished from the attempt of July 15th coup in 2016 in Turkey.
The films are chosen worldwide from the world cinema which depict the struggle against the coup, coup attempt, strict systems, colonialism, imperialism, new-imperialism.
There are 20 films old and new from the world cinema from Indonesia Malaysia Korea Kyrgystan Uzbekistan Azerbaijan Iran Turkey Hungary Germany Italy South Africa Algiers Soviet Union Norway Portugal Mexico French Guyana, United States.
Kyrgyz cinema is represented by two films. The opening film is Kurmanjan Datka and also thr Early Cranes.
There is also a panel discussion with a title Cinema and Freedom: Mysteries and Limits
The films will be shown at 3 centers free of charge open to public.
