On February 1, submission for the XX Kazan International Muslim Film Festival started. The submission will last till June 1, 2024. The Selection Committee will finish its work by the beginning of July. After this, the official selection will be announced. |

There was the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Contemporary Cinematography in the Context of Spiritual Revival", dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the film critic, teacher and founder of professional cinema science in Kazakhstan Bauyrzhan Nogerbek (1948-2017) on May 30, 2017 in the Kazakh National Academy of Arts after the name of T. K. Zhurgenev.
