Today in Vecherniy Bishkek: Kurdistan or Grave
2nd Slemani International Film Festival, 1-7.10.2017.
On the 29.09.2017, 6 pm by Turkish time - Turkey stopped all flights to Kurdistan (Erbil and Sulaymaniyah). Team of the Slemani IFF bought air-tickets for me via Istanbul. And Team of the festival asked me make the video with my greetings to festival and Kurdish people.
Dear friends!
For many years I dreamed of getting into Kurdistan, because I have a very good attitude to the Kurdish people.
From August 19, 2017 began our cooperation with the International Film Festival in Slemani. I really like how we worked fruitfully during September 2017. It was a very invaluable experience!
I managed to get acquainted with the program of documentary films of Kurdistan - this is a very good list of films that give an idea of the current situation in Kurdistan, the great dream of the Kurdish people - to become an independent state.
I wish success to the second international film festival Slemani! Thank you for the invitation to visit the wonderful city of Sulaymaniyah! I really hope that next year I will definitely come to Kurdistan!
