Reception of applications for Kazan International Muslim Film Festival is still in progress
On February 1, submission for the XX Kazan International Muslim Film Festival started. The submission will last till June 1, 2024. The Selection Committee will finish its work by the beginning of July. After this, the official selection will be announced.

Kurmanjan Datka have awarded the Crystal Simorogh at the 33rd FAJR International Film Festival, Tehran, April 25th - May 2nd, 2015
The closing ceremony of the 33th international section of Fajr Film Festival was held with the presence of Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the Head of the Cinematic Organization, the Director of Fajr Film Festival, the Head of the International Section of Iranian Cinema, and other national and international artists.
The awards of all the sections were as follows:
Islamic and Asian Countries (Eastern Panorama)
1- Crystal Simorogh of The Best Film is dedicated to Batumengke the producer of Norjmaa directed by Bayaneruul from China
2- Crystal Simorogh of The Best Directing is dedicated to Elchin Musaoglu for Nabat from Azerbaijan
3- Crystal Simorogh of The Best Script is dedicated to What’s the Time in Your World? to Safi Yazdanian.
4- Crystal Simorogh of The Best Actor is dedicated to Marat Oripov for The Teacher from Tajikistan
5- Crystal Simorogh of The Best Actress is dedicated to Badema for Norjmaa from China
6- Crystal Simorogh of Special Jury Award is dedicated to “Men Who Save the World” by Liew Seng Tat from Malaysia, Netherlands, Germany and France
Second Section
Art and Experience Cinema
1- Statue of Art and Experience is dedicated to Bird People directed by Pascal Ferran from France, England and Japan
2- Statue of Art and Experience is dedicated to Confessions of My Dangerous Mind directed by Houman Seyyedi from Iran
Third Section
World Cinema (Salvation Cinema)
1- Crystal Simorogh of The Best Film is dedicated to Richie Mehta the producer and director of Siddharth from Canada and India
2- Crystal Simorogh of The Best Directing is dedicated to Faruk Hicihafizoglu for Snow Pirates from Turkey.
3- Crystal Simorogh of The Best Script is dedicated to Chen Yang, Wang Bing, Luo Siwei, Sun Haifan, Li Dan, Li Songzhang, and Zhang Peng for Norjmaa from China
4- Crystal Simorogh of The Best Actor is dedicated to Govardhan for Names Unknown from India
5- Crystal Simorogh of Special Jury Award is dedicated to Borderless by Amir Hossein Asgari from Iran
Fourth Section Special Award of the festival: Women Cineastes
1- Crystal Simorogh of The Best Young Talent is dedicated to Ali Mollagholipour director of Sugar-bowl of Dowry from Iran 2- Crystal Simorogh of The Best Nations Unification is dedicated to Sadyk Sher-Niyaz director of Queen of the Mountain from Kirgizstan
3- The Moustapha Akkad's Special Prize (Golden Flag) dedicated to Michel Hazanavicius for The Search from France and Georgia.
