Call for entries in 57th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen

The next edition of our Festival will take place from 5 to 10 May 2011.

As in previous years, works of all genres and formats may be submitted. They must not exceed a length of 35 minutes (45 minutes in the German Competition) and have been produced no earlier than 1 January 2009 (1 January 2010 in the German Competition).

Please note that the festival screening for an international production must be a German festival premiere, which will ensure a lot more media and industry attention.

There are two separate entry deadlines for international and German productions: international submissions must have reached Oberhausen by 15 January 2011 (German productions by 15 February 2011). There will be no more extensions!?We recommend submission via reelport.com, a simple, quick and economic alternative to traditional submission procedures.

Preview copies (DVD only!) must be accompanied by our entry form. This can be downloaded as a pdf-file in English and German here. In French and Spanish you can download it here.

All submitted films/videos will be part of the Video Library, where they can be previewed by buyers, curators, representatives of other festivals and other professionals.

The MuVi-Award for the best German music video has its own set of regulations and entry form.

Further programme information about the 57th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen will be published at the beginning of 2011.
