International Film Festival starts in Tajikistan

The fourth international film festival Didor will take place in Dushanbe from October 12 through October 16.

“Its mission is to preserve film culture in Tajikistan. And by means of films – to preserve balance between secular and religious culture in the region,” the film forum initiators emphasize.

In 2010, films from the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan will participate in the film festival.

This year Kyrgyzstan is represented by two films – full-length "The light thief" of Aktan Arym Kubat and short "Earrings" of Nargiza Mamatkulova.
