Again film by Kyrgyz director The light thief has got the prizes
Kyrgyz director Aktan Arym Kubat’s film “The light thief” has received Grand Prize at the VI International Film Festival "Eurasia", held on September 21-25 in Almaty city (Kazakhstan).
“The light thief” movie was also awarded the prize of the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI).
In general the results of the film festival are as follows: the award for direction was presented to Turkish film "From 10 to 11", the prize for the best male role was given to Andrei Merzlikin in the film "Lost", for the best female role – Darya Gorshkaleva in "Gastarbeiter", the prize Opening of the Festival – a young Tartar actress Rezeda Khadiullina in Bibinur.
Well-known American actor Kevin Costner sang at the festival closing ceremony as a soloist of his own musical group.
