Toronto international film festival with Kyrgyzstan participation

 

Film of famous director Aktan Arym Kubat «The light thief» continues to go around the word and will be present in the Toronto International Film Festival, Canada.

  

Starting out in 1976 as a collection of films from other festivals - a "festival of festivals" - the Toronto International Film Festival has become one of the most successful cinematic events in the world, universally regarded as an ideal platform to premiere films. Boasting a public eager for the best in contemporary film, as well as international attention from media, distributors, producers and buyers along with a galaxy of stars, the Toronto International Film Festival is considered the premiere film festival in North America.
 
The Festival showcases more than 300 films from across the globe, with a diverse selection of titles. Festival programming is divided into 18 programmes.
 
There are a lot of big premiers in the 35-th Toronto International Film Festival program. New films will be presented by Clint Istwud, Terrens Malik, Jon Turturro, Denni Boil.
 
In 2010 festival will take place from 9 to 19 September.
 
Film «The light thief» will be shown in the Contemporary World Cinema program since two days in September, 10-11.
