no imagePresentation of «Kyrgyz Cinema» web site

Social fund "Cinema Development Fund" is presenting its official web site "Kyrgyz Cinema". The presentation will take place in "Cinema Home" at 5 p.m. August, 5, 2010.

This web site is the only site that reveals modern Kyrgyz cinema today. This site is made within the project named "Kyrgyzstan as a back lot" in two languages (Russian and English) by support of Prince Claus Fund for Culture and Development of the Netherlands.

Guests of presentation will be eminent cultural workers, filmmakers, famous actors of Kyrgyzstan and representatives of international organization.

One can find all information about many prominent and independent Kyrgyz filmmakers in this site, including production studios, film-shoot locations across the Kyrgyzstan and resources for needed type productions and post-productions.

"Cinema Development Fund" hopes that this site will improve collaboration and cultural exchange between Kyrgyz filmmakers and those from around the world, attracting more foreign companies for making their own projects and projects of cooperative base.

The upcoming presentation is to present the best works from "Gallery" - site of prominent photographers such as Erkin Boljurov and Aleksandr Fedorov.
